BECOME FUTURE READY
Central to the New Youth Leaders mission is an objective to help participants identify their passion and purpose at an early age, laying the foundation for lifelong success.
Research shows that students who develop career interests before age 16 are 18% more likely to pursue post-secondary education and 22% more likely to secure stable employment by their mid-20s.
Our model fosters an entrepreneurial mindset, equipping students with the 21st-century 4C’s—critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration—skills that 85% of employers identify as essential for workforce readiness. By integrating these competencies with our 4-Ps framework, NYL ensures that vulnerable and disconnected youth gain the skills, networks, and opportunities needed to thrive. Our approach actively reduces employment gaps and diversifies the creative economy, contributing to a more equitable future.
